Mick McCue- Mayor
Mick McCue has lived in Foxfire since 2008 and is a retired Marine officer. He spent more than 27 years on active duty as a Judge Advocate. McCue performed duties as a prosecutor, defense counsel, land use attorney, ethics counselor, and Staff Judge Advocate for several major commands. He also served as the Adjutant of Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C. (8th and Eye) and commanded at both the company and battalion level. His education includes a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a Juris Doctor, an L.L.M. from the Judge Advocate General's School of the Army, and a Masters in Military Science and International Studies form the Naval War College. Mick and his wife Arlene have one daughter Olivia.
Leslie Frusco - Mayor Pro-Tem, Finance Director
Leslie Frusco moved to Foxfire Village as a full-time resident in 2004. She is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of public accounting experience and currently licensed in the State of North Carolina. Prior to becoming a CPA, she held various positions in private industry and local government in the areas of finance, marketing, and administration. While residing in Western Pennsylvania, she was most recently a partner in a local CPA firm, and now practices as a sole-practitioner. She received her BA from San Diego State University and her MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Her husband Jack has 4 children and seven grandchildren.
Jon Sedlak - Water Department
Jonathan P. Sedlak along with his wife moved from northern NJ to Foxfire in the spring of 2006 after retiring from a subsidiary of Fairfax Holdings. Jon was a programmer, design engineer, manager and consultant in the IT industry primarily serving the commercial property and casualty insurance industry for 35 years.
Shortly after moving to Foxfire, Jon worked part time for the water department and was accredited with both well and distribution licenses appropriate to running Foxfire water infrastructure. Jon retired in January, 2014.
Jon is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute earning a BS and MBA. He has one child, Amanda who now lives and works in NJ.
Victor Koos - Public Safety
Vic Koos has lived in Foxfire Village for over ten years. Both he and his wife Pam are retired school teachers. The Kooses met in high school in Dearborn, Michigan. Pam had the lead in the school play, "The Mouse That Roared." Vic played a President of the United States. Ironically, opening night was November 22, l963, the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
Mr. Koos attended Eastern Michigan University and received a BA in Business Education with a Minor in Management He then received a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. While teaching High School, he taught various classes in Law as well as classes in Advertising, Marketing and Consumer Affairs. He also coached Swimming, Cheerleading, Softball and Baseball. Pam and Vic were married on September 13, 1968. Yes, It was Friday the 13th.
The Kooses have two children, Mindy and Vic, and seven grandchildren
Don Boito - Streets and Park
Don Boito moved to Foxfire Village in September of 2012 from NE Ohio. Don Spent over 20 years as a Field Artillery and Cavalry Officer, both on active service in Vietnam and in the National Guard. He has commanded at the Battery and Squadron level retiring in 1994. He worked in the civilian sector in logistics and supply chain management serving the automotive and aerospace industries. He is a graduate of the University of Akron and the US Army Command and Staff College. He has spent 2 years sitting on the Foxfire Planning and Zoning Board.
Don is married to his high school sweetheart Nancy. They have 2 children, son Scott who lives with his family in Tennessee. Their daughter, Jeannie and her husband are in Texas where Jeannie is serving with the U.S. Army.
Don and Nancy have 3 grandchildren, Kieran, Killeen and Sinea.
