ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Lisa A. Kivett - Village Clerk / Zoning Administrator / Personnel Administration / Municipal Pool Mgr.

The Village Clerk provides a service function to Foxfire Village as well as a service oriented support function to other departments within the Village structure.

The Village Clerk is responsible for keeping the official records of Foxfire Village, retention of all permanent documents, preserving the archival documents, and indexing minutes to provided legislative history of Foxfire Village.  This responsibility includes recording documents with the County recorder as required, preserving Ordinances, Resolutions, and Minutes of the Council. 

The Zoning Administrator is responsible for the review and issuance of all building permits and code enforcement within the Village and its extra-territorial jurisdiction.  This department provides administrative support to the Planning & Zoning Committee and the Board of Adjustment Committee.

 

Sharon Sanchez - Deputy Finance Officer/ Tax Collector/ Water Billing

The Deputy Finance Officer is responsible for all accounting operations, including: revenues, expenditures, cash management, and utility billing.  The accounting and financial reporting functions of the Village are centralized in the Administration Department under the supervision of the Finance Director.

Finance division activities include: accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, auditing, budget, debt management, financial reporting, payroll, purchasing, revenue collection, risk management, and treasury operations. The Finance Department also coordinates preparation of the annual budget on a basis consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.

Budget status and expenditure reports are prepared and presented to Foxfire Village Council on a monthly basis. In addition, an annual audit is performed by external auditors retained in the Village Clerk's Office.
